Huntsville Engaged and Listening Peers. A student-founded peer mediation program — real conversations, guided by peers, that actually resolve things.
I, Lyn Brinkley, co-founded H.E.L.P. with my other high school friend Mary Fleming. We saw conflicts going unresolved and escalating into something else altogether. So, we created a safe, structured place for students to talk things out. H.E.L.P. — Huntsville Engaged and Listening Peers — our student-led peer mediation program, was built to give other students another option than staying quiet or continuing to fight with one another.
Tell us what's going on and who's involved. Everything you share stays private.
Two trained peer mediators guide a calm, structured conversation between everyone involved.
You leave with an agreement you helped write yourselves — not one handed to you.
Every member of H.E.L.P. writes their own bio below, so you know exactly who's mediating.
